Taden Gery, DPT

UWS Physical Therapist

Taden is a Columbia University graduate, where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. His previous education includes a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Strength & Conditioning from the University of Delaware.

As a student, Taden graduated summa cum laude and received honors as an outstanding senior in his class. His additional contributions included serving as an assistant Division I strength coach, being a board member of the PT Perspective program, working as a DPT student tutor, and teaching anatomy coursework.

Taden’s interest in physical therapy began as an athlete, where he developed a curiosity for skilled movement and impressive feats of coordination. Through his experiences in baseball, snowboarding, and Olympic weightlifting, he has cultivated a variety of interests related to full-body strengthening and rehabilitation.

Following graduation, Taden specialized in orthopedic care across diverse populations, ranging from pediatrics to professional athletes. His further involvement in post-operative rehabilitation, return-to-sport conditioning, and mentoring physical therapy students has shaped much of his professional development. His treatment approach emphasizes clear communication, actionable goals, movement optimization, and routines tailored to each individual.

Outside of the clinic, Taden enjoys weight training and calisthenics. He can also frequently be found working on graphic design projects, focusing primarily on video editing and 3D animation. Interesting movie and video game recommendations are always welcome!
