Mitchell Levine, DPT

Born and raised in Ponte Vedra Florida. I went to Florida State University for my undergraduate bachelors of science with a major in athletic training. I got to experience on-field care with many sports over my 4 years at FSU. I then attended the university of North Florida for my DPT program where I graduated with the highest GPA in my class.

I’ve been practicing since May 2025 in an outpatient orthopedic setting, working with a wide variety of presentations, but mostly sports injuries and orthopedic patients. I have a significant amount of knowledge in physical therapy related to golf injury prevention, and specific exercises for swing improvements. I’ve completed a CEU course recently for golf and how to decrease risk of injury in many age groups and skill levels. I have experience with running athletes and extensive experience with postoperative rehab rehabilitation. I have a good relationship with a surgeon in Florida who has referred me many throwing athletes, which are all mainly high school and college pitchers.

My treatment approach relies heavily on building rapport with patients and getting to know them for who they are. I enjoy a nice balance between manual therapy and functional exercises to promote improved function in daily living. I rely on collaborative goalsetting in order to return patients to whatever activity or sport they had been doing prior.

I became a physical therapist due to my own lower back fractures from playing football where I had a wonderful experience in PT while rehabbing. I want to give my patients the same experience I had and I bring lots of positive energy to the clinic every single day!

Outside of the clinic, I absolutely love to surf (Florida boy), play golf, and I am new to NYC so I’m enjoying exploring! I’m the biggest Jacksonville Jaguars fan you’ll ever meet so don’t be offended if I wear my gear around town haha.
